January 14 of every year is celebrated as Defenders of Motherland Day/ Men’s Day of Uzbekistan, also known as Uzbek Army Day. It is considered a public holiday every year to give respect to the men of the country.
On 13th January 2024, we at Acharya University celebrated Defenders of Motherland Day/ Men’s Day.
The event started with Uzbekistan's national anthem. Students came dressed up in uniform. The importance of the day was briefed. The students gave a group dance performance.
December 8 is celebrated as Constitution Day in Uzbekistan, as it is the date of adaptation of the country's law in the year 1992, it is considered a national holiday every year.
On 7th December 2023, we at Acharya University celebrated Constitution Day. The event started with Uzbekistan's national anthem.
Students conducted the whole event using English, briefly summarized the importance of the constitution in Uzbekistan, and recital of constitution laws related to education and students was also done.
The students showcased their talents through a live performance of an instrument and a Dance performance.
At the end of the event, musical chairs were played in two games for both boys and girls; all the students participated enthusiastically, and the faculty also joined in the fun. the performers and coordinators were awarded certificates.
Acharya Institute of Technology, Bengaluru, was honored to host a distinguished delegation led by Mr. Zaripov Botir Komilovich, the Governor of Bukhara, Republic of Uzbekistan. The visit aimed to explore collaborative opportunities in the realms of education and information technology, fostering partnerships between Indian and Uzbek startups. Additionally, the delegation sought to attract Indian startups to explore the burgeoning opportunities available in Bukhara, Uzbekistan.
Highlights of the Visit: It is the process of optimizing websites and content so that they appear higher in search engine results pages (SERPs) for relevant keywords.
Day One: The delegates engaged in extensive meetings with renowned IT and pharmaceutical multinational corporations (MNCs) and unicorns based in Bengaluru. These discussions aimed at fostering potential collaborations in the near future. Accompanied by distinguished personalities from Acharya, the delegation visited the offices of leading companies such as Google, IBM, Microsoft, Intel, among others.
Day Two: A large-scale investors' meet was hosted at the Acharya campus, attracting over 150 pre-registered companies and their representatives. The event featured presentations on the promising future prospects in the Bukhara region. Subsequent face-to-face meetings were conducted in private discussion rooms, resulting in the signing of 18 Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) on the same day.
