1. Language and Literary Club

"To learn a language is to have one more window from which to look at the world." With a multi-lingual staff and students, this language forum aims to bring awareness of foreign languages and cultures.

    A language club opens the following avenues:
  • An opportunity for speaking practice.
  • A sense of companionship or friendship
  • Cultural knowledge
  • Personal growth

2. Arts Club

Unleash your inner artist at Acharya University's vibrant Arts Club, where creativity finds its form! We offer a platform for your artistic passions, from workshops, training and gallery exhibitions. Explore painting, drawing, writing, music, and more in a supportive community.

    Activities Conducted
  • Workshop on Basics of Photoshop & Canva – 20/01/2024: As mentioned, Students were introduced to Photoshop and Canva and endless possibilities in the designing field. Students worked on a small hobby design with pre-defined templates.
  • Fireless Cooking Competition- 03/02/2024: Students bought different kinds of local ingredients and put up stalls to sell their dishes, which were prepared without any fire. Staff and faculty encouraged the students.

3. Youth Leadership Program

The Youth Leadership Program (YLP) enables young people to develop communication and leadership skills through practical experience. It helps participants to:

  • Overcome the fear of public speaking,
  • Organize and present ideas logically and convincingly,
  • Enhance listening skills,
  • Gain confidence to participate in group discussions and meetings and
  • Develop one's personality.

4. Model United Nations

Acharya University Model United Nations (AUMUN) is an international club where students compete and train their public speaking and critical thinking skills while dealing with global issues. It helps participants to:

  • Increase awareness of world issues,
  • Improve problem-solving and advance research skills
  • Simulate United Nations (UN) committees
  • Gain diplomatic skills
  • Engage in a conference in Tashkent or in New York City.

5. Information Technology Club

The aim is to cultivate a passion for excellence, empower individuals, and nurture future leaders and innovators in Information Technology, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages creativity, teamwork, and continuous growth for meaningful contributions to the ever-evolving IT landscape.

    Activities Conducted
  • Technical quiz and coding contest- 20/01/2024: Students were segregated into teams and were actively involved in a digital quiz contest. The contest was organized using Quizz software tools, and the students answered through their phones in a supervised environment. The questions were related to IT and coding.

6. Radio Club

The Radio Club is a nurturing platform for students to inspire and bring about social and cross-cultural outlooks through Radio as a technical hobby. It helps the students in the following manner:

  • Students will Talk on the social media platform.
  • USP for getting students to Acharya.
  • Helps in Resume Building of students.

7. Social Media Club

The social media club provides students with an understanding of modern media forums by connecting, communicating, collaborating with best journalism practices and encouraging ethical behaviour. It helps the students in the following manner:

  • Use of media forums.
  • To make aware of the international ethical standards.
  • Encouraging students to use media platforms for common human welfare.
